From December 7, hospitality venues are set to benefit massively when significant easing begins on nightclubs and dance floors.
From Monday, 100 people can gather outside, and up to 5000 people can gather for an outdoor event that is fenced, ticketed and seated.
Up to 3000 people can gather outside for organised events, subject to the two-square-metre rule.
Nightclubs will be subject to the four-square-rule, with a maximum of 50 people on the dancefloor.
At pubs, people will still need to sit down inside but will be able to stand up at outdoor venues.
“We are grateful to the people in NSW for their patience and understanding over what has been an incredibly difficult year has been,” Berejiklian said in a statement.
